Our goal At Taos Love is to change the perception of vacation rentals in the Taos area and beyond. Often vacation rentals are negatively associated with big business investors, “party pads”, limiting long term rental opportunities, increased rent, perpetuating the housing crisis, and creating more community problems. We believe that vacation rentals, if done sustainably and responsibly, can support local businesses, generate more long-term rental opportunities, maintain reasonable rent prices, alleviate the housing crisis and bring communities together through sustainable generation and allocation of the lodging taxes garnered through vacation rentals. That is why the Taos Love Family only works with homeowners that have an interest in the success of the Taos area and see their properties as homes within this diverse community and not just money-making investments.
