The idea of Bison Star began in 2013 when we started making soaps as a hobby, although didn’t actually open until January of 2018.  We released our lotion soon after in May of 2018 and our liquid soap in January of 2019.  We’re working on adding to our product offering to include other body care products including body wash & more. 

 Our humble beginnings started in our founder’s kitchen. After lots of trial & error, Jeff created what is now our best-selling, aluminum-free Original Formula deodorant. These days our Humble team has grown to over 40 people, proudly based in our high desert home of Taos, New Mexico. 

Our skincare is handcrafted from seed oils; rich in antioxidants and nutrients; cold processed, raw, and organic. High in the life force we call “the fixer,” healing properties that restore, hydrate and repair. Grown on earth just for you; especially for your beautiful face and body. We put them in jars and bottles for you. 

At Taos Bakes, taste comes first. We believe that great food should be an experience—one you can see, smell, and feel. Unlike the bland, processed bars you may have encountered, our snacks are crafted with real ingredients and bold flavors that bring people together.

Inspired by the flavors of Dori’s Bakery and Café, Seasons of Taos brings the bold, authentic taste of New Mexico to kitchens everywhere. Handcrafted in Taos, this unique seasoning continues to capture the region’s rich culinary heritage.

Rooted in tradition and crafted with care, New Mexico Piñon Coffee brings the rich, smooth flavors of the Southwest to every cup. Inspired by the landscapes and culture of New Mexico, their signature piñon-infused blends offer a unique taste experience that has become a local favorite. Roasted in Albuquerque and enjoyed nationwide, it’s more than just coffee—it’s a true taste of home.

High Desert Honey Co. produces 100% raw, unfiltered honey from the Taos Valley in New Mexico. Their bees forage on diverse fruit trees and wildflowers, resulting in honey rich in natural nutrients. Committed to natural beekeeping practices, they avoid chemicals to support bee health. They also craft small-batch infused varieties with organic spices and locally wildcrafted herbs, offering a unique taste of the Southwest.

For me, cooking is...A beautiful connection. A lifestyle that I enjoy and am grateful for every day. I put happiness and great memories on plates.
